Q. What warranty coverage is provided with each Elevator?
A. Every elevator we install comes with our manufacturers two (2) year limited warranty designed to coincide with your TARION warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. Canada Custom Elevator also provides a 1 year preventive maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction.
Q. How many levels can the elevator travel?
A. Our residential elevators can access up to 6 levels with a maximum travel distance of 50 feet(600”).
Q. What size hoistway/shaft do I need ?

Q. What is required for hoist way construction?
A. Details for suggested wall construction are provided in the planning guide. Link to planning guide
Q. What types of interiors are available ?
A. From simple yet graceful to distinctive cab interior designs , you will find extensive arrays to complement your design.
Selections ranging from plastic laminate walls to exotic natural hardwoods,mirror to glass insert walls, satin to polished fixtures , variety of ceilings with recessed or surface mounted lighting plus many other options are available.
Q. How deep does the pit need to be?
A. Minimum pit depth is 8” however for ease of installation we recommend 10”.
Q. What is the minimum overhead requirement?
A. Minimum overhead (distance from finished top floor to underside of ceiling ) is (96”) for a regular (80”) cab height.
88” or 96” high cabs require an additional overhead space.
Q. What are the power requirements?
A. Standard 220V/240V single phase power supply is required for the motor. A separate 110 V power is also required for the elevator’s interior lighting

Q. What is the standard Size cab?
A. We do not have a standard size elevator cab. We can build our elevators to fit into virtually any reasonable space available in your home,however our most popular size is 36 “x 48” clear inside dimensions.
Q. What size machine room is required for the residential elevator?
A. A 3’ x 4’ enclosed space with a self closing and latching door located behind the rail wall at the lowest level is preferred, however if this space is not available the motor can be relocated .
